Charger site-selection tool

Know before you build
where drivers need chargers
that nobody serves yet

Click any point on the map of Thailand to get a 0–100 site score, calculated from real trip planning by Saifah users and weighed against existing station density. Use it to shortlist areas before sending a team to survey.

Who it's for

What are you deciding?

Charging operators

You're planning an expansion and need a shortlist of areas with high demand but free fast chargers, before you budget for surveys.

Which province should we expand to first?

Property owners

Malls, hotels, fuel stations or condos that want to know whether there is demand for chargers at their site.

Should our site have chargers?

Investors and partners

You want to understand how charging demand is spread across Thailand, and how much of it Saifah's data covers.

Where is the market still underserved?

01

Score and level

A 0–100 score and potential level for the chosen point and radius.

02

What drives the score

Local demand, existing chargers, and the share of demand nobody serves yet.

03

How busy nearby chargers are

Split by time of day and power, to show whether existing stations can still cope.

Real example: in Chonburi, moving the point just 6 km north changes the score from 39 (moderate) to 87 (very high). Many planned trips pass through there and nearby fast chargers are close to full, so the tool recommends adding chargers.

How it works

One score, easy to read
tells you how strong the case is

01

Pick a point on the map

Click anywhere in Thailand and choose the radius to assess.

02

Read real demand

Count trip plans and range checks in the Saifah app within that radius. Where app usage is thin, road density fills the gap.

03

Account for existing stations

Check how busy nearby chargers are. If existing stations still have spare capacity, the score drops. Then get a suggested connector count and power.

Site score = demand × saturation of nearby stations

Clear limits

What the score tells you, and what it doesn't

We state the limits plainly so your team uses the score where it works.

Works well for

  • Shortlisting provinces or districts before sending a team to survey on site
  • Finding areas many trips pass through but with few fast chargers
  • A first estimate of connector count and power for DC fast-charging stations

Not yet covered

  • Guaranteed returns. The model has no land, capital or electricity cost data.
  • Comparing sites a street corner apart. The resolution isn't that fine yet.
  • AC (alternating current) charging, which is still in development

Network data

Every network's stations in one map

Saifah pulls real-time charger status from 30+ operators. Operators who connect their status feed are shown to drivers as they plan their trips.
